SWISS TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM

Last full day in Switzerland.  We took our time in the morning.  Then drove over to Luzern to the Transportation Museum.  Their claim to fame is that they are the Most Visited Museum in Switzerland.  It certainly was big and I wouldn't want to be there when there were bus loads of school children!!  They had a separate building for each type of transportation; boats, planes, trains and cars.  Although, as Randy had predicted, the car display was really sad...."the Swiss hate cars and driving".

I have no idea what this display was supposed to
represent but I thought they looked really cool.

Got back to the hotel in the afternoon and had time to take a swim and relax.  Thunderstorms came in for a while but they cleared up just in time for our last dinner on the terrace at the hotel.  Another delicious meal and just as we were finishing up desert the thunderstorms started up again.
